Day 01: Delhi

Welcome to India’s capital city Delhi, a symbol of the country’s rich past and thriving present where ancient and modern blend seamlessly together.
Arrive International Airport, meet with our representative who will assist you with transfers and smooth hotel check in.
Spend rest of the day at leisurely. (Standard Check in time for every hotel is 02:00PM. Early check in is subject to availability)
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast at hotel you will set out on a full day tour of combined Old & New Delhi. The tour begins in Old Delhi with Jama Masjid India’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid, beautifully decorated with paintings, inlaid stones, carvings and glazed tiles and then a unique glance at local life by an exploration to the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk once the grandest Indian market. Enjoy a rickshaw ride in this street.
Drive pass by Red Fort before driving to New Delhi. Enjoy the calm serenity of the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and witness the Langar (free kitchen), where everyone is welcomed and fed a vegetarian meal, irrespective of color, cast, creed, age or gender.
Continue drive along the city landmarks of India Gate, President’s House, Parliament House & Government Secretariat Buildings and stop for photo opportunity there.
Next visit Lotus Tempe (closed on Monday) one of the marvels of modern architecture. The temple gives the impression of a half-open lotus flower afloat, surrounded by its leaves. The shining pure white marble, the majestic dome, the petals clearly standing out create a sense of grandeur and awe. Conclude the tour at 11th-century Qutub Minar – Standing 73 foot tall, this five-storeyed tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, remains one of the most magnificent buildings of India from the medieval era. Return back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Agra by Train & Drive to Chambal Safari Lodge  (Mela Kothi) (63 Kms/1.5 Hrs)

This morning transfer to the railway station to connect train to Agra Train: Gatimaan Express Dep. 08:10 HRS. Arr. 09:50 HRS. Upon arrival meet with our representative and visit Taj Mahal a symbol of love (closed on Friday). The Taj Mahal, a mausoleum of white marble, was built between 1631 and 1648 in memory of Emperor Shah Jahan’s favorite wife Mumtaj Mahal. Taj Mahal is admired across the world as a masterpiece of Indian art – a UNESCO world heritage site. The Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore called the Taj Mahal a “teardrop on the cheek of time.” It remains a testament to the grief—and power—of an emperor. Next visit remarkable Agra Fort UNESCO World Heritage Site, made using red sandstone and marble and features the Mughal style of architecture. There are splendid rooms, magnificent mosques, and beautiful halls inside this fort. The main structures and monuments at the fort include public and private halls called Diwan-i-Am and Diwan-i-Khas, royal pavilions that house masjids, royal baths made using marble, a mirror palace or Sheesh Mahal, and courtrooms, among others.

Optional – An amazing local social enterprise, Sheroes Hangout, is located about 10-minutes from the Taj Mahal and is an excellent place to stop for a cold drink, coffee or light meal while you are here. The initiative is part of the Stop Acid Attacks campaign and staffed by survivors.

Continue take a 90 minutes’ drive to reach at Chambal Safari Lodge, a nature lover’s paradise. Overnight stay at Safari Lodge.

Day 04: Chambal Safari Lodge (Mela Kothi)

This morning enjoy a boat ride in Chambal River, gentle paced safari allows for unobstructed and spectacular views of alligators, crocodiles, and turtles.

Continue to countryside between Chambal & river Yamuna and get a chance to spot Blackbuck dear and numerous dry land birds. Overnight stay at Safari Lodge.

Day 05: Chambal Safari Lodge (Mela Kothi) – Ramathra (250 Kms/05 Hrs)

Today we drive towards Ramathra Fort, nestled on a quiet hilltop with a commanding view of the countryside. It is a bit of an adventure to reach, as the surrounding roads are fairly rough making the journey to and from quite difficult. If you can survive that the very inaccessibility of Ramathra Fort makes it an extraordinary and secluded place for couples and families to stay, far off the beaten track. On arrival check in to 17th Century hilltop fort.

Afternoon enjoy your delicious lunch, prepared carefully in the family kitchen using farm fresh seasonal produce. Evening enjoy a boat ride on the lake with its peaceful & picturesque breathtaking views of the sunset. Dinner and overnight at Fort.

Day 06: Ramathra

After an early breakfast set out to explore the Ramathra village on foot accompanied by Ramathra Fort staff. This walk will provide you a chance to familiarize the life of the people in this tiny hamlet. Continue visit the local school where the students are too glad to meet people from other cultures and background. This is an exceptional experience if you are travelling with children. It is wonderful to see how children can so easily traverse the bounds of language to interact with one another.

Afternoon enjoy your leisure time to soak in the jaccuzi offering panoramic view of the countryside.

In the evening step out to offer prayers at the local temple and meet the village priest. Dinner and overnight at Fort.

Day 07: Ramathra – Ranthambhore (65 Kms/2.5 Hrs)

Today we will drive towards Ranthambhore National Park – probably the best place in the world to see wild tigers and is the only dry deciduous tiger habitat in the world.

Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Lunch at hotel. Optional – Afternoon Canter Safari at Ranthambhore national park.

Evening enjoy your dinner at the hotel.

Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Ranthambhore

Morning and afternoon enjoy game drives, there is ample opportunity to spot the wild Bengal tigers in their natural environment. Hope to be spot a Tiger – it’s thrilling!

Ranthambore was amongst the first National Parks where Project Tiger was started. With an area of 400 sq. km, Ranthambore encompasses rocky hill crests which descend to open valleys between the Aravalli and Vindhya Ranges, dotted with water pools and fruit trees, this park gets its name from the thousand-year-old fortress, which looms above the forest. Well known for the diurnal activity of Tigers, Ranthambore is a very special and unusual area where a natural present meets a historical past. Sambar, Cheetal, Chinkara, Nilgai, and Languor. The elusive Leopard and Tigers are found in this reserve with tourists standing a very good chance of seeing tigers during the safaris. Dotted across the landscape are the crumbling ruins of its past glory, be it chatris or cupolas, like palaces or old guard posts, all of which reinforce the magical and ethereal quality of this great wilderness.

The entire park is divided into 10 different zones, with good Tiger and wildlife population in almost all zones. It is a photographer’s paradise with different kinds of lighting, angles, backdrop and any frame that you want, Ranthambore is picturesque in its own special way.

Note: Morning game drive starts around 06:00 AM and Afternoon game drive starts around 02:00 PM. Timings are seasonal. Each game drive lasts around 3 hours. Game drives are offered in open-top canters and these could be pretty dusty and bumpy. Please consider carrying a scarf to cover your face. In summers, wear long sleeves, sunscreen, sunglasses and sunhat.

Day 09: Ranthambhore – Jaipur (150 Kms/03 Hrs)

After breakfast drive towards Jaipur, upon arrival check in to the hotel.

In the evening witness Aarti at the beautifully carved Lakshmi Narayan temple.

Day 10: Jaipur

This morning take an excursion tour to the magnificent Amber Fort located a distance of about 11 kilometers from Jaipur. Accent the fort riding on Jeep. Amber was the capital of Jaipur in early days during the rule of Kachhwahas from the 11th to the 16th century. Later Raja Man Singh built this fort and expanded Amber. The fort is dived into four part, each having separate entrances. Suraj Pol“Sun gate”is the main entrance to the fort, this entrance faces east. Once we enter in to the fort, the fort has lot of interesting things to flaunt. Every part of this palace is an amazing work of art. The “Magic flower” a fresco carved out of marble stone is a major attraction here.

Drive back to Jaipur en-route stop at Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal is famous for its windows or ‘Jharokhas’ which enable free circulation of air within the structure. Though many reasons are cited behind the construction of the fort, Purdah system followed by the Rajputs is said to be one of the main causes. During those days, Rajput royal women did not appear in public or in front of strangers. However, they were keen to follow the day-to-day events and royal processions occurring on the streets. It is for their benefit that the Hawa Mahal was built, complete with small windows and screened balconies. This gave the women a sense of freedom, without appearing in public.

Explore the City Palace a spectacular example of the unification of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Commissioned to be built by the founder of Jaipur, Maharaja Jai Singh II, this lavish palace includes the living quarters of the erstwhile royal family. The palace also boasts several rare artworks. Next visit the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. This evening enjoy a culinary experience and dinner with a local royal Indian family where you can learn about exquisite dishes and also local cultures including saree draping. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11: Jaipur - Delhi (260 Kms/06 Hrs.)

This morning join a local bicycle trip to have a close look of Pink City – 06:30 – Meeting the team at Jal Mahal 07:00 – Hike to the top of Mountain & Yoga experience 07:45 – Spot the Gentle Giants – a visual symphony to look at the rows of these majestic giants entering into the grand palace of Amber Fort with a graceful gait.

08:15 – Get mesmerized with the beautiful architecture 09:00 – Concluding the trip at Ankohi Museum Return back to hotel for breakfast.

Later drive towards Delhi, upon arrival transfer to the International airport to connect flight for your onward destination.
